The Opportunity
Browne & McMahon Joint Venture Pty Ltd are pleased to present a 'Pre-Owned' IPCC that has less than 10000 Operating Hours.
In Pit Crushing & Conveying System.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest 'EOI' from from Mining Companies and Large Scale Mining Contractors who are in the market for a World Class IPCC.
Location
Currently located at Clermont Mine Central Queensland Australia.
This World Class TAKRAF IPCC is a fantastic opportunity and is ready to be disassembled and transported to Mackayor any location in Australia in a 26 week time frame.
Destination
This World Class TAKRAF IPCC could also be shipped to any country globally and recommissioned within 12 months for the astute buyer.
History
This In Pit Crusher and Conveyor System was Commissioned in 2009 at the Clermont Mine in Central Queensland Australia.
At the time it was the Worlds Largest IPCC System. When new owners took possession of the mine the IPCC was decommissioned
System Overview
The IPCC system can crush and transfer overburden via conveyors of up to 5 km to the dump area. Reducing the number of haul trucks and expensive hauling costs.
IPCC mobile crusher can handle both ore and overburden material.
The IPCC has a proven production rate of 10,000 tonnes per hour.
Mobile Crusher and Conveyor
The IPCC can be set up in a semi-permanent location to reduce truck haul distances. It is also suitable for crushing and transporting waste or ore to a stockpile
Shovel, Conveyor Combination - SHECON
IPCC can track behind a shovel to replace an entire truck fleet, crushing and transporting the waste to the tiphead.
The IPCC Components:
The IPCC System is designed to crush and convey excavated overburden at a nominal mass flow rate of 10,000 tph.
The mobile and relocatable system consists of:
Mobile Sizing Rig (MSR)
Overland Ramp Conveyor
Overland Dump Conveyor
Mobile Transport Crawler (MTC)
Mobile Tripper and Spreader (MTS)
Including a significant list of Critical Spare Parts (CSP)
Example IPCC Layout:
Mobile Sizing Rig (MSR)

The IPCC system can be set up to be semi-mobile with direct loading by shovel or semi-permanent with trucks dumping into the MSR hopper.
420 Tonne Mobile Transport Crawler
Specifically developed for the transport and relocation of heavy and/or over-size mining or processing plant equipment such as belt conveyor head or tail stations, conveyor structure segments, semi-mobile crushing plants, apron or belt feeders, surge bins, counterweights or any large structure or device that needs to be moved.
Overland Conveyor
TAKRAF/SKM design
Motors ABB 1350kW
The conveyor comes in modules so that the conveyor can be moved quickly, with a current total length of 4,900 m.
Approximately 10,000 m of ST4000 steel cord belt, width 2200 mm (15 mm top cover, 8 mm bottom cover) in good condition.
Designed to operate as 2 belts using 4 x 1,350 kw ABB motors using Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) capable of up to 12,000 tph.
Mobile Tripper Spreader (MTS)
The mobile tripper spreader can spread overburden to the dump and the conveyors and spreader moved by dozers as required.

Benefits
Environmental Benefits
Reduced truck numbers, haul road congestion and Improved safety due to fewer mobile vehicle usage
Less fossil fuel dependent using clean electrical power.
Reduced manning requirements of between 40 – 60% due to higher automation.
Reduced spare part requirements.
Reduced greenhouse gas emissions of up to 38%
Noise level reduction of up to 35%
Dust emission reduction of up to 40%
Reduced bad weather downtime
Reduced Costs compared to Hauling
Eliminates the need for haul road construction and on-going maintenance cost.
IPCC systems are reliable, requiring less maintenance and service employees than trucks.
Production is not impaired by bad weather.
Conveyors can operate on steeper grades compared to trucks.
